The two day symposium will be one of the core events of the Tbilisi Architecture Biennial and will contribute to better understanding of the main topic – Buildings Are Not Enough.
The event will consist of two parts – panel discussions and keynote speakers. This year, panel discussions will host more than 30 participants from more than 15 different countries, including Georgia, USA, Norway, Brazil, Poland, Germany, Armenia, Austria, Serbia, Turkey, Hong-Kong, Netherlands, Bulgaria, Slovenia and others. Panel discussions of 90 minutes will be organized with the main themes:
- Learning from Gldani
- New Economies, New Landscapes
- Publics and Counter-Publics
- Pedagogy of/at the Periphery
- Architecture Institutions and The City
- Post-Soviet Transformations
