Founder and Principal of MUA
Born in Tbilisi, Georgia. He obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Georgian Technical University.
With no formal education in architecture, he worked on a wide range of international design commissions and building developments. Devi has been instrumental in developing and managing projects in various fields within the country, with a specialization in the hospitality, media, and leisure industries. The experience of setting up and managing a series of projects and events in Georgia has brought him a wide range of contacts and knowledge of government policy and ambitions.
In his early career, he has worked with UK Based architectural and interior design firms. In 2007, he founded his studio specializing in interior and furniture design. In 2010 he became the founding partner of Architects of Invention, which later was divided into two firms with offices in London and Tbilisi, subsequently transforming the Tbilisi office into Multiverse Architecture in 2012.
His Major Works include ID for the headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia; Tbilisi Prosecutors Office; National Olympic Committee House; Ozurgeti House of Justice; Lazika Municipality Building; Batumi Hilton Hotel and Prime Class Residences; Tabula broadcasting TV Studios; Georgian National Agency for Standard and Metrology; Fabrika Tbilisi, including 385-bed Hostel; Hampton hotel and Residences; Design for local offices for international companies including Phillip Morris and Booking.com.
He is currently a principal of Multiverse Architecture; Founder and Brand Director of Fabrika Tbilisi, Multifunctional Urban Art Place and the Cultural Center (full member of Trans Europe Halles); President of the Georgian Sailing Federation since 2017 (General Secretary since 2011); Founder and active member of the Board of Tbilisi Sailing Club.
