Archive ARQ EURE is an online repository of magazines ARQ and EURE, that allows diving into 40 years of editorial background and the organization of personalized downloadable compilations by means of dynamic labels, generating unique cross-reference publications for academic and research purposes.
With an innovative search tool, Archive ARQ EURE not only facilitates searches by years, topics, scales, formats, authors, years, or journals, but also "suggests" articles similar to the searches carried out, allowing unexpected crossovers between related content. Archive ARQ EURE includes an experimental publishing feature that allows you to create a unique version with contents from both magazines after you read, select, and compile contents from them.
In a learning scenario in which online and open-access education are becoming more relevant, archives.cl constitutes a new benchmark that broadens the meaning and updates the metrics, beyond the impact factor of scientific publications. A "common space," or space of encounters between critical thinkers, authors, readers, and practitioners, in order to discuss timely and relevant topics. The motivation behind our work on this kind of project is to facilitate access to knowledge no matter the geographic context, age, or affiliation; allowing people to have open access to critical contents —academic or not— following the work of the custodians or digital librarians.
The project is a joint effort by dpr-barcelona with Ediciones ARQ and Revista EURE.
