The webpage Voiceyard.online, which was created during the pandemic allows its visitors to anonymously demonstrate their personal state and express emotions through sound. Sound waves are an underrated form of self-expression, especially online, where most of the information is obtained as text or images.

During the pandemic, when human activities were limited to online spaces and isolation, sound communication became especially important. In different countries neighbors started performing music for each other from their balconies, encouraging friends and colleagues with shouting from their windows.

Voiceyard.online creates a digital neighborhood where people can express their emotions, sing, yell, listen to other people’s recordings, and create a composition from the sounds available on the website.
