Kety Gujaraidze
Kety Gujaraidze has almost 30 years of experience in environmental protection. She joined Green Alternative, a Georgian non-governmental environmental organisation, in 2003, as a policy analyst. Her role involves in-depth research, as well as policy- and project-level advocacy on environmental issues. Kety also has experience of working at public institutions of Georgia; she served several years in the office of the Parliamentary Committee on Environmental Protection and Natural Resources (1996-2000), and the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources (2002). In 2016-2023, Kety was a lecturer at the MSc Programme on Environmental Management and Policy of the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA). She holds MSc degrees of the Tbilisi State University and the Lund University (Sweden). Kety is the author and co-author of numerous studies and papers on natural resources governance. Recently, she co-authored the study published by Heinrich Böll Foundation on the raw materials situation in neighboring European countries – Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Georgia and Armenia.
